FHP Unsolved Fatal Hit and Run - Enhanced Reward Offered

On June 4, 2020 around 9:00 p.m. Jason Bryant was walking in a northerly direction near the roadway in front of 6410 15th St E. A 2017/2018 Dark colored Mazda CX-5 was traveling southbound on 15th Street East, south of 63rd Ave East. The vehicle struck Jason with the front right corner of the vehicle and fled the scene in a southern direction on 15th Street. 
 
The mentioned vehicle is believed to have had prior front bumper damage and that the right side of the bumper may have been dragging on the ground. 
 
Manatee County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect(s) involved in this case.  Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the suspect(s) and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-634-TIPS (8477), report anonymously online at www.manateecrimestoppers.com, or send a mobile tip using the P3 Tips Mobile application. Crime Stoppers must be contacted first in order to be eligible for a cash reward.
 
In addition to the reward offered by Manatee County Crime Stoppers, an enhanced reward of up to $6,500 is available through the Florida Association of Crime Stoppers, in partnership with the Florida Office of Attorney General.  The additional monies are available through June 30, 2022. The anonymous tip must come through the Crime Stoppers program in order to be eligible for the additional funds.
